The World’s Greatest Cruise Ship Queen Elizabeth 2 is a floating Hotel in Dubai

The legendary Queen Elizabeth 2 (1969-2008) started a new chapter as a floating hotel, dining, and entertainment destination in Dubai. The Q2 is now docked permanently in the new marina at Dubai’s Port Rashid.

Following a multi-million-dollar investment programme, the 13-deck ship’s unique interior design features have been lovingly preserved, and seamlessly integrated alongside hints of modern luxury. Today, the Q2 offers 215 refurbished hotel rooms and suites, restaurants and nightlife venues, the QE2 Spa, a gym, three decks of executive rooms and suites, as well as conferencing and event facilities. Also it proudly serves as a tourist and entertainment destination with an impressive 515-seat theatre, a history and heritage exhibition and tour.

A very ambitious project where Metron passenger lifts were installed to bridge the mainland with the 294 meters ship. In total, 4 Complete Elevator Solutions were installed.
