We officially welcome 2021 cutting our traditional New Year’s cake.

For us at Metron, the Cutting of New Year’s Cake (Vasilopita) is not something that mustbe done in the beginning of every year. On the contrary, we want to live it like an unforgettable experience. It is an exceptional motive for us to learn new things, get inspired, have fun and share moments like a big family!

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19, this year we organized an alternative event where all employees joined the feast online in order to keep all the safety measures.

On Thursday 11th of February, the virtual event took place where Mr. John Sandros, CEO of Metron, cut the New Year’s cake. There was a vivid reference to the last year’s achievements and new year’s goals. Moreover, in a quite optimistic and warm atmosphere, he expressed his thanks for the team work, the efforts and he wished soon all the hard times to be past.

Individual cakes, delicious as usual, were distributed to all employees and 5 of them won the luck coin. Well done!
