Due to the current situation of Covid-19 pandemic, many people avoid using the elevator to get around. However the elevator is inevitable for the majority.

The air disinfection mechanism kills 99% of the bacteria that live in the elevator atmosphere and can be placed in any cabin.

The system includes biological identification which recognizes whether there are passengers on board and begins the operation. If the passenger leaves the cabin the system disinfects until its next use.

It is made of extremely thin aluminum and can be placed in two places inside the cabin. Either wall-mounted, reducing installation and maintenance costs, or adapted inside the COP box giving the most elegant solution.

The antibacterial button, is suitable to complete Metron’s proposal. It is an elevator button made of special antibacterial material which prevents the accumulation of bacteria on its surface and their transmission through touch.
